Summer would not be the same without florals so it’s no surprise they bloomed all over this season’s catwalks. This summer the perennial trend was given a fresh spin becoming bigger and better with a futuristic twist. Mary Katrantzou took her signature prints one step further with beaded blooms bringing to life her voluminous shapes while Temperley displayed her florals in candy colour palettes. 3D appliqués decorated the feminine silhouettes at Giambattista Valli and Matthew Williamson while Christopher Kane used stencil cut-outs and sequinned embroideries for a truly modern touch.
