Please note, Global-e may send your order in multiple parcels in order to get your items to you as quickly as possible. In this case, you will be provided with a separate tracking number for each delivery.
We always aim to deliver your order within the timeframe specified to ensure seamless shopping experience, however there may be instances of delays that are, unfortunately, beyond our control. In such cases, delays to your order will be communicated by our carrier – DHL.
If you are shipping within the US, local sales tax will be charged on all orders at checkout in selected states where applicable.

These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to all Phase Eight purchase orders for one or more products (an “Order”) which you, acting in your individual capacity as a consumer ("you" or “your”) place with us, Phase Eight (Fashion & Designs) Limited, trading as Phase Eight ("we" "us" or "our"):

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products but the definition will depend on a number of factors including but not limited to your computer display settings.
All sizes and measurements are approximate.

When you pay for goods costing £100+ on credit, you have additional rights to make a claim against the credit provider. If you’ve complained to us and the complaint remains unresolved after 8 weeks or we send a “deadlock” letter, you may contact the Financial Ombudsman Service. Buying goods and contract formation

You place an order with us by completing the following process

To place an order on the site you must meet the following requirements:

Legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
At least 18 years old, unless a parent or guardian is supervising you placing your order.

On receipt of your order, we will send you an order confirmation email to the email address which you have provided to us. This email will contain your order number and details of the goods ordered. Payment shall be taken on the day your order is placed with us and this will be confirmed to you by email. An order dispatch email will be sent when the goods are being prepared for dispatch.

The contract between us (the “Contract”) will only be formed when we take payment from you.

We may decline to accept an order in circumstances including, but not limited to:

your payment not being authorised;
if you do not satisfy the requirements to place an order, as set out above;
product(s) ordered not being available from stock and/or suppliers; or
where a pricing or product description error has occurred.

We reserve the right to cancel orders without prior notice. If we cancel any order, it will be without charge to you and any payment taken for such order will be refunded to you in accordance with our Refund Policy set out below

Delivery

UK Delivery

UK Standard Delivery is £3.95 for orders under £150, FREE for orders over £150 and takes 5-7 working days.

Click and Collect services are available. For any further information Contact Us.

Premium Courier Service DHL / DX is £4.95 and takes 2 - 3 working days.

Next Working Day Delivery is £6 and takes 1-2 working days. Orders placed Mon-Thurs before 2pm will be delivered the next day. Any orders placed after 2pm will be delivered within 2 working days. Orders placed on a UK public holiday are not available for next day delivery.

Next Day Saturday Delivery is £8 and the order must be placed on Friday before 2pm to be delivered the next day on Saturday.

International Delivery

Globale UK Limited (“Global-e”) is our sales facilitation and e-commerce partner, and by placing an international order to purchase one or more of our products through the online checkout, you accept that you have read, understood and agree to Global-e’s terms of sale and privacy policy. Global-e is the seller on record for international orders, and Global-e will take your transaction payment.

Returning goods

UK returns are FREE and can be sent via Royal Mail.

We are unable to amend or cancel any orders once they are placed. Instead, once your order has arrived, simply follow the returns instructions enclosed and as detailed below, and where we have received your goods in accordance with our refund policy, you will be issued with a refund.

Our returns policy entitles you to a refund for item(s) bought online with a proof of purchase within 28 days of receipt.

Items must be in their original, unworn state together with valid receipt.

For reasons of hygiene we are unable to refund or exchange earrings for pierced ears, and face masks.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day on which you received the goods you ordered. Notification of the cancellation must be received in writing within 14 working days, starting from the day after the goods are received. We will refund the cost of the item(s) ordered and, in addition to this, any paid delivery charge. Please note that the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery (as permitted by law)

Payment

We accept PayPal and payment cards including: Visa Debit, MasterCard, and American Express. Security checks will be conducted against any submitted payment details. Payment shall be taken on the day your order is placed with us and this will be confirmed to you by e-mail when we e-mail you to confirm your order.

We use Adyen, a payment service provider, to process any credit/debit transactions you may make on our behalf. When you place an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your payment transaction details. You are responsible for ensuring the e-mail address and other contact details you provide to us are correct.

We will not be responsible if you do not receive the dispatch note, email or other confirmation from us because the details you have supplied are incorrect or in the event of communication failure beyond our control.

Placing orders

When you order products online, you will need to provide necessary personal information such as your name, email address and delivery details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password and for preventing unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Please take all necessary steps to ensure that the username and password is kept confidential and secure. We will not be liable for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of your failure to keep your password or account secure. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your username and/or password has become known to anyone else, or are being or are likely to be used in an unauthorised way. If we suspect that fraudulent activity is taking place on your account, we reserve the right to refuse you access to your account, and we may delete your account

Our liability to you under these Terms and Conditions will not exceed the total price charged for the items purchased and is limited to losses that were reasonably forseeable. We have no liability for any of your consequential or indirect damages. Any liability for loss or damage arising out of these terms and conditions will be limited to the extent that you cause or contribute to the loss or damage.

If you suffer any loss or damages as a result of the unauthorized use of your payment card at the checkout, we will not be responsible for such losses/ damages, and we are not responsible for notifying your card issuer or any law enforcement authority.

We may without notice and without liability suspend the checkout or the website for technical reasons including repair, maintenance and/or improvement. We cannot guarantee that the website is free from errors or uninterrupted.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence. Any rights you have under consumer legislation, including legal rights relating to faulty products, are not affected by these terms and conditions.

Gift Packaging Service

Our Gift Packaging Service is available online and in our Phase Eight stores, for £3.95 per box.

You only need to add the gift box service to your order once, simply add to your bag at the checkout and we will select the correct size box for your purchase.

Gift Packaging is not available per product for multiple item orders. An order featuring multiple items will come in one gift box. This excludes shoes and hats, which are boxed separately.

Checkout assistance communication from Phase Eight

We may send an email if you put an item/s in your basket, but leave the site while you are logged into your account. These emails are not promotional emails. They should assist you in your checkout. Therefore, if you unsubscribe from the checkout assistance emails you will not be automatically unsubscribed from the Phase Eight marketing communications. This would need to be done separately.

Promotional offers

If you have agreed to receive marketing emails, we may from time to time notify you of special promotional offers and events (including sale previews). These offers may run alongside promotions in our standalone stores or at one or more of our partner department stores, as notified to you via email or in store.

In store events

Redemption of benefits

If you have signed up for marketing emails you may be notified of benefits via email and so you should ensure that Phase Eight is designated as a 'safe sender' on your email systems. 
Benefits are valid until the date specified by us in the relevant email communication to you and must be redeemed by such date. Benefits are to be redeemed in certain stores as notified to you. No cash alternative will be available and benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Benefits cannot be re-sold, transferred or assigned.

UK Returns are FREE and can be sent via Royal Mail

To allow you to shop with confidence, we have extended our returns policy for the festive season. Any purchase made, either in store or online, between Tuesday 15th October and 19th December 2024 can be returned for a full refund (or our stores can offer an exchange service if preferred) up until 18th January 2025.

Our returns policy entitles you to a refund for item(s) bought online with a proof of purchase within 28 days of receipt.

For a refund items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-sellable condition.
For reasons of hygiene we are unable to refund or exchange face masks or earrings for pierced ears.
We will process a refund back to your original payment method.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day on which you received the goods you ordered. Notification of the cancellation must be received in writing within 14 working days, starting from the day after the goods are received. We will refund the cost of the item(s) ordered and, in addition to this, any paid delivery charge. Please note that the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery (as permitted by law)

How do I get a returns label?

If you did not receive a pre-printed returns label in your parcel, simply click this link. You will need to enter your email address and your order number.
Or, you can arrange for Royal Mail Returns to collect your parcel, free of charge, from your home address; simply follow the steps here https://send.royalmail.com/collect/youritems and enter the Royal Mail Tracked 48 barcode number (13 characters) from the returns label on your dispatch note that came with your order.

How long do I have to return?

If your purchase is not suitable, you have 28 days from receipt to return this back to our warehouse or into a standalone Phase Eight store (exclusions apply). This applies to full price and sale items.

Where is my refund?

Your return will take 14 working days to be delivered to our warehouse and to be processed. Please note it may take 3-5 days for the refund to appear in your account once this has been processed. You will be notified via email once your return is complete and refunded. Please allow the full 14 working days after the delivery for our returns team to process your order and refund.

I sent back more than one item, but have only been refunded in part

Your parcels may not arrive back at our warehouse together, please allow up to 14 working days for parcels to be delivered to our warehouse and to be processed. Please note it may take 3-5 days for the refund to appear in your account. As parcels may be separated in transit please allow the full 14 working days for all refunds to be processed.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not offer exchanges through postal returns; your order will be refunded. A new order can be placed for the item or size you wish to change. Exchanges can be made in a standalone Phase Eight store.

If you have not received an email confirmation of your return and you have already waited 14 working days, please contact our customer services team and let us know your order number and which item(s) were returned, and include a scan or photo of your posting receipt for this to be investigated.

UK Returns by post

Returning online via post is FREE in the UK.

To return your purchase via post:

Attach the Royal Mail returns label from your dispatch note to your parcel, making sure you've removed the original address label.
Package your parcel securely and ideally the goods should be returned in their original packaging.
Take the parcel to the Post Office. You will be issued with a receipt, which should be kept safe until your refund is processed.
You can track the progress of your returned parcel by using the Royal Mail tracking link on your proof of postage receipt.
Please allow 14 working days for returns to be received by our distribution centre and processed from the date of posting.
Once your return is processed you will be notified by email.
It can take up to 3-5 days for the refund to be processed by your bank.
Refunds will be credited to the payment card, Gift Card or PayPal account used to make the purchase. Please keep your Gift Card as Gift Card payments will be refunded before other methods.
If you’ve received an email confirming your refund but can’t see the money in your account after 3 working days, please contact your bank/card issuer. We are not liable and cannot take responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.

UK Returns to a Phase Eight store

Online purchases can only be refunded at Phase Eight standalone stores and cannot be exchanged or refunded at any Phase Eight concession in a department store or outlet stores.
When returning to store, please use your dispatch note as proof of purchase.
Refunds can only be issued onto the credit/debit card used for payment.
Alternatively, you can return the original product as stated above providing you have your dispatch note as proof of purchase.

UK Exchanges

We are currently unable to offer exchanges by post for online purchases. Alternatively, you can place a subsequent order for the new product and return the original product via our free returns options outlined above.

We do not offer exchanges in store for branded products.

Faulty or damaged returns

If your item is damaged or faulty upon receipt the cost of returning will be free.

Please keep your postage receipt and contact Phase Eight customer service once we have processed your return to arrange a refund for postage costs.

We will only pay the cost of returning your purchase via your local postal service up to a maximum cost of £7.50 per kg.

We share your information with our core service providers and third party platforms as required for our business to function; for example, payment processing, picking, packaging and processing orders, fulfilling deliveries, customer support, fraud detection, credit risk reduction checks, IT systems support, and internal audits, for example:
If you have made an order, your contact details will be passed to delivery couriers.
If you choose to provide feedback on your transaction, we may share your information with a third party feedback site who will capture your feedback on transactions which we use to enhance our customer service.
Your information may be processed by a third party in order to test, enhance or maintain the functionality of our Site and database.
In the event that you add items to your basket but do not complete a transaction, we will use our partner Bloomreach B.V.’s technology to automatically send you an e-mail to remind you that there are items in your basket.
We operate a refer-a-friend programme to enable our customers to recommend us to their friends and family. Our refer-a-friend programme is operated on our behalf by Mention Me Limited as our data processor. You can object to us processing your data in connection with our refer-a-friend programme at any time by contacting us.
Whilst you are a member of our mailing list we may share your information with trusted non-core service providers, such as marketing partners we have carefully selected to deliver incentives to participate in offers, polls, surveys, analysis or research, all of which assist us in enhancing our services. They are not permitted to use your information after you unsubscribe.

We also use services offered by Google, Facebook, Instagram and other similar social media platforms to better tailor our marketing communications and for targeted advertising. As part of this process, some personal information, such as your e-mail address, is provided to the relevant third party, however for security purposes this data is “hashed” prior to being shared. Hashing is a process of identity masking or “pseudonymisation” which means we do not disclose your e-mail but still enables linking between your social media presence and our Site. How we share your information

We share your information with our core service providers and third party platforms as required for our business to function; for example, payment processing, picking, packaging and processing orders, fulfilling deliveries, customer support, fraud detection, credit risk reduction checks, IT systems support, and internal audits, for example:
If you have made an order, your contact details will be passed to delivery couriers.
If you choose to provide feedback on your transaction, we may share your information with a third party feedback site who will capture your feedback on transactions which we use to enhance our customer service.
Your information may be processed by a third party in order to test, enhance or maintain the functionality of our Site and database.
In the event that you add items to your basket but do not complete a transaction, we will use our partner Bloomreach B.V.’s technology to automatically send you an e-mail to remind you that there are items in your basket.
We operate a refer-a-friend programme to enable our customers to recommend us to their friends and family. Our refer-a-friend programme is operated on our behalf by Mention Me Limited as our data processor. Whilst you are a member of our mailing list we may share your information with trusted non-core service providers, such as marketing partners we have carefully selected to deliver incentives to participate in offers, polls, surveys, analysis or research, all of which assist us in enhancing our services. They are not permitted to use your information after you unsubscribe. We also use services offered by Google, Facebook, Instagram and other similar social media platforms to better tailor our marketing communications and for targeted advertising. As part of this process, some personal information, such as your e-mail address, is provided to the relevant third party, however for security purposes this data is “hashed” prior to being shared. Hashing is a process of identity masking or “pseudonymisation” which means we do not disclose your e-mail but still enables linking between your social media presence and our Site. We receive insights from Facebook about the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns which you experience on our Site and social channels. This helps to better target our advertising. Every external company we work with has a contract with us which clearly sets out our expectations and requirements in handling personal information and obligates them to meet these standards and those contained in the GDPR. We will only share the personal information that each company needs in order to perform the specific services we have instructed them to carry out.

International transfers

The delivery of products to you may require us to transfer your data outside of the European Economic Area. How long we keep your information

We retain the information you provide for the following periods:

For as long as you are subscribed to receive marketing information and, afterwards, indefinitely in our suppression lists to ensure that you do not receive such information;
For as long as your account is being used and for a period of three years after the date you cease to use your account, after which period we will anonymise the personal information on file by deleting the personal information and allocating a personally unidentifiable unique reference ID and store the remaining information for a period of five years (“Data Retention Period”). After this time it will be permanently deleted from all systems and back-ups. If you wish to set up an account after this period this will be treated as a new account and your transaction history will not be available; and
In the case of any contact you may have with our Customer Services team, for as long as is necessary to provide support-related reports and trend analysis.

Our Data Retention Period has been determined to cover contractual and legal requirements, credit risk, fraud detection and customer service periods, as well as to cover regulatory requirements, and the resolution of disputes or fraud prevention.

How we store your information

Your information may be processed by our staff or by the staff of our suppliers to the extent necessary to fulfil your order.
