Benita Spitzenkleid mit Tapework

This is a beautiful dress and fits very well. I first saw it in a shop and couldn't get it out of my mind. It feels very comfortable on and I'm sure I will get a lot of pleasure out of wearing it.

This dress is the epitome of classy, understated elegance. Beautifully made and fully lined. I bought it for my very elegant, ninety-four-year-old mother, but frankly, it is one of those ageless dresses that would be appropriate for almost anyone. Unfortunately, I have had to return the dress as it is too tight across the bust. I have a wardrobe full of Phase Eight dresses and I know that if I bought a bigger size, it would be too broad across the shoulders. Normally, for myself, I buy a size up and then take a bit out of the shoulders to make the armholes the correct size (the armholes are ALWAYS too big), but it would be very difficult to do this with such a dress as it has sleeves. It’s such a shame, because otherwise, this dress is perfect.

I didn't realise that the dress didn't have a zip. It is a bodycom dress so having to put it on over the head and pull down is a struggle and I thought it would show up all my lumps and bumps but I was pleasantly surprised. Both my daughter and granddaughter said they thought it looked very good on me. I have bought this for a forthcoming cruise formal night so will keep it. The quality of the garment is very good. I do have my doubts about taking the dress off without any help, time will tell.

This dress is absolutely stunning and a perfect fit.
