As the official womenswear partner of Goodwood races 2026, we’re here to decode the race day dress code. If you’ve ever wondered what to wear to the races or what is a race day dress code, here are head-to-toe race day outfits for all three of Goodwood’s enclosure dress codes.
This is the most formal enclosure at the racecourse and the time to go all out - wear the fascinator, match your accessories. The smart, race day appropriate style here allows you to dress up and feel amazing. Arms can be bare and jumpsuits or suits can also be worn so you can put your spin on race day style, effortlessly.
Not as formal as the Richmond enclosure but race goers are still encouraged to be smart and elegant. Think vibrant dresses you can wear for the races with a statement fascinator through to wedding season, with a matching heel and clutch.
The Goodwood Style Ethos
Goodwood is a racecourse like no other - the family-friendly Lennox enclosure is all about a relaxed day out with no formal dress code (picnics welcome!) We recommend styles that can be dressed up with a small fascinator and heels for the races, but you can also dress down with sandals for a look you’ll love wearing on weekends too.
