Now that many of us will be staying at home for the next few weeks, our team at Phase Eight share their top tips for keeping up your productivity whilst staying healthy and positive, from making smoothies to Skype workout sessions.
Start the morning right
Start your day with a hearty breakfast. Mel from our Photography team is making use of her extra time in the morning by creating fruity smoothies to enjoy with her eggs and avo on toast!
Keep to a routine
We’re sticking to our usual routine as much as possible. Getting up early and planning an outfit gets us in a motivated and energised headspace ready for the day ahead.
Create a workspace
Get comfortable and make sure you have everything you need nearby – you don’t want to be dashing into the next room to find a notepad during a conference call!
Listen to your favourite radio channel
Want a little background noise? Tune into your favourite radio station for music, entertainment and news updates.
Remember to take a break
It’s important to take a break from your screen, so try to remember to get up and stretch your legs, even if it’s just around the house. Our Daywear Buyer, Olivia, suggests if, like her, you’re missing the gym, find a home workout tutorial on YouTube and get a friend on Skype to join you, so you can exercise together.
Keep in touch
Communication is essential during this time, so make sure you’re checking in with your colleagues and work friends regularly. A phone or video call can go a long way!
