Because it is lined it comes up slightly smaller than the size suggests.

Exactly as described, well made, washed well, only tiny criticism is that it is a bit tight across the upper arm.
Love the fit of these dresses, actually using them for bridesmaid dresses as they suit many figures.
I washed this garment at the correct temperature and it has shrivelled slightly all over. being lace I can see why this would happen but am now concerned about ironing it to bring it back into shape. I didn't expect this to happen for such an expensive dress.

The dress is a perfect fit, purchase made for a wedding. It is however a dress I will definitely ware again. The fabric moves with you and always look good. I'm already thinking I may perchase a red jacket to take the dress into Christmas.... so pleased with this dress.

I’ve obviously sent it back. I thought the model was incredibly difficult to get on, I got it wrong first time and felt like I was being strangled. Not an easy fit and certainly not one for me.
Dress looks better on than on the hanger. Flattering, good fit and comfortable. Lace delicate so need to be careful with jewellery, but this is not a negative comment - just the way it is!

Tried other colour in shop in size 10, fitted ok so ordered navy dress in size 10 online. Was too big when it arrived. Much bigger than one in shop. Was very disappointed as it was for a wedding.

Beautiful dress,sadly it did not fit me.I need and prefer a lining with some give the polyester did not and it was too tight over my hips.With great regret I had to send it back.I wish they had used the lining I have always had in previous dresses from phase eight and I have many a dress from them which fit me like a glove.

Usually easy wear a size 14 in your dresses had bought another 2 dresses from yourself around the same time, 1 in store, another online after this one. However when tried on instore the 14 was snug so choose the 16. The 16 that arrived was a little more lose fitting than the one in store tho but I've kept it.
The dress fitted very well. I bought it for a wedding (daughters) so as yet l have not worn it for any length of time.
It is very figure flattering, and l was in panic mode as the size l wanted, was not in the shop, but the staff looked to see if any were still in stock.........yes, was the reply.......one very happy customer!
Once I revived the dress in a better condition it was lovely.

I love this dress, it's fit really well (when other brands did not!), it moves with you so you don't feel like you can't sit down without having to smooth the dress down and it's very slimming. Great dress!
