Fabulous dress too tight around the bust so had to be returned
Bought the blue version, this is the same style but a different colour. Very pleased.

Button holes too loose, had to sew them up tighter to prevent them coming undone otherwise it would get a 5.
Buttons gape and are impossible to open/close
The dress is a winner for me. I purchased the Penele Swing Dress last summer in a light red/white fabric and got lots wear out of it. This current one in leopard print could be worn all year around with different tights/footwear, etc. I read the reviews and ordered a size up from my summer one and that was the right thing to do. It hangs really well and does what it says on the tin - it really does swing when you wear it.

Lovely dress and have the summer version in red and the 10 is a perfect fit. This however is at least 3 inches smaller in the bust and was much too tight,

i had previously bought this style in the autumn in green and found it gaped a bit. I loved the swing dress style so bought this one in a size 14 and it looks a feels and looks great. I love the colours.

Dress fitted well and suitable for any occasion ... wedding..christening ... funeral. Or just going out for dinner at a nice restaurant.

Sizing is poor and I am not impressed as I have always brought a size 10 with phase eight
Dress is very flattering for the fuller figure. Nice quality material which can be worn any time of the year, either with tights or without.
This is a lovely dress but it is cut far too narrow under the arms. I bought the green one in the summer, same size but far better fit.

Thicker material than expected and too long for me, wanted it shorter otherwise would have probably kept

This is a nice modern dress that can be dressed up or down depending on how you want to wear it. Relaxed fit and comfortable it could be worn on any number of occasions. Great print too.

Loved the colour and style of the dress but the fit wasn't good and varied a lot from the fit of the same address in blue. Had it been a bit looser all over I would have kept.

The dres was just what I hoped it would be.
I've not worn this yet, but fell in love with it when I saw it on line. Decided to try it on in store and bought it there and then. Very pretty and can be layered up when it gets colder.

Beautiful dress , hangs well and is a very flattering shape . It does seem to be quite a small fit and pulls very slightly across my bust . I’m usually a 14/16 and the bought the 16 . It’s definitely worth sizing up particularly if you are on the ***** side like me

I bought the longer version of this dress in the summer, and loved it, hence buying this version for the autumn. I ordered a size 10, which I had before and the fit was perfect, however this dress is much smaller and really tight across the sleeves and bust. Very disappointed.

Great style. Got this in an 18 as the material has no give in it (would usually go for a 16) but it's still tight under the arms and across the chest and I've not changed size! A lot smaller than average.

I like this dress very much, I already have it in a different colour. This one seemed tighter than the one I already have, so I had to return it.
I have the longer midi red version.
I love the shorter version for autumn which I can wear with tights and boots.
Couple of tips... if your a size 14 pear shape then you need to size up to a 16. The cut hits you at thigh and I found the 14 a bit snug on the thigh.
Also read the washing instructions.. you need to iron this whilst it’s damp.
I know I’m going to get a lot of wear out of it.
The only thing that would make it more perfect would be pockets.
Too tight for me across the bust. Styling not as loose as I expected. I usually buy the same size and it's consistent, but not on this occasion.

Shame I had to return this item - Lovely dress but didn't fit across the bust? Hence the 4 stars - Appreciate we have all been grassing while the lockdown but its the bum and hips that's spread not the bust...
Have tried all summer to purchase the summer penele without success so ordered the winter one and then found the summer ones back!! However I have kept the winter one instead. I like the way you specify the.height of the model as I am short and it is a great help to me when ordering.
