MEET THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE PHASE EIGHT SO GREAT.
HEAD OF CREATIVE
As the excitement builds towards her big day, we join Leanne as she chooses something amazing to wear from our wedding collection.
She talks us through her modern wedding style and what it felt like to have to reschedule her Scottish castle wedding…three times!
Like so many couples, we had a 2020 wedding planned and had to rethink due to Covid. (We’re on third time lucky!) We’d originally booked our dream venue for the reception: a Scottish castle with the most beautiful views out onto Loch Lomond.
Unfortunately, the venue decided against honouring the rebookings for this year, so we had to rethink. We’re still having a big church wedding (as we have large families 😊) but we’ve decided to keep it low key for the reception in the church hall.
Everything happens for a reason and so many couples have been in our position.
My style as a whole is understated; I like timeless and simple pieces. I have a more relaxed approach to my wedding now and that's reflected in my outfit choices.
I love the idea of wearing this Cadie suit for my wedding weekend: it’s striking and comfortable – I’d also wear it again.
I might not have considered a cream suit before but I was inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer and Bianca Jagger - I love their relaxed yet scene-stealing looks.
I was excited to try the Poppy dress as it has such great reviews and the lace detail is beautiful! It made me feel like a million dollars. If you are looking for a more contemporary lace style, this is the dress for you.
I do plan to have a number of outfit changes, to make up for spending the last year or so in loungewear!
For the evening, I want something a bit more fun, something that I can relax and dance in. The fringe detailing on the Elecia dress is stunning, with the longer line creating impact. It felt lovely on!
What the last year has taught us is there is nothing more important than friends and family and your health.
It’s so easy to get caught up in all the bells and whistles when planning a large wedding – adding unnecessary stress to the day. We just hope we can have all our family and friends there, that’s what’s important to us.
