Fitting of the bodice area for a size10 was quite loose

Ordered two sizes. Received one. Returned this item. Beautiful dress. Very good quality fabric. Almost double layered. Too heavy for the summer. Ordered a bigger size as advised that dresses came up small. Top half fit but the bottom was too tight for me. Not a true black

True to size and great outfit for any occasion
You cannot vault the fabric and finishing of garments, but it was not point in trying it on, by holding it it was very long for a 5ft person and the style did not lend itself for a short person, sadly I had to return it.
Lovely dress, but didn't fit me, it came up quite large at the top, ordered a size 10
The dress was far too long for me. I am 5ft 2 in. It didn't fit very well for my shape. On a tall person with slender hips, the dress would look very elegant. I will be returning this dress.

Bought the 14 first which was huge more like a 16 then ordered the 12 that was tiny
Material didn't feel very nice. End finish poor with many loose threads on seams.

It is a bit tight on the waist
Delighted with my dress. Fits perfectly. length etc good. Just on the knee.. Got to get used to the back wing sleeves, but honest opinions tell me its GREAT. At least its different. I am normal stock size, regular fit size 8. I am over 70 yrs old!

how a dress should be made
I loved the look of the dress online and thought the dress would be suitable for so many occasions however it just did not fit . The top half did not match the sizing of the bottom half for me. I think if you are very big busted with narrow hips this dress would be ideal . But as I am possibly more pear shaped my usual size 12 did absolutely nothing for me. A shame as the dress is of good quality.
Nice cut, nice material, stylish dress, good fit
Ordered 2 sizes in just in case, 14 was a bit nippy around the waist and the 16 was way too big across the shoulders. I’m quite short so the zip didn’t sit right at the back which looked a bit humpy. Really disappointed because the dress is beautiful.
Fabric looked cheap, not flattering
The dress was excellent but there seemed to be a lot of materiel in the top. This may be because I am odd shape but I don't usually have a problem getting things to fit. I would certainly buy from Phase Eight again though, their site was clear and easy to shop in.

I have bought this dress for my daughter's wedding - very unusual and flattering.
The colour combination and floral pattern is very pretty but a bit tight for me at the middle.
Sizing so very off key with other purchases.

I originally ordered a size 18 originally. it fitted ok on the bottom, but was a bit saggy around the bust area. I then ordered a size 16 which fitted perfectly
