Absolutely gorgeous quality skirt but VERY long! I’m 5’4 and have taken 3” off the length to get the hem to just touch the top of my trainers. Great if you’re very tall I guess and better to be too long than a frumpy length. Pockets would have made it an absolute peach of a skirt but I still love it!

I loved this top and skirt when it caught my eye in the window of Phase Eight in Bury Saint Edmunds. Navy has always been my favourite colour as is looks smart but not as harsh as black. There has been lots of floral clothes available in the last few years so it was refreshing to see the chequered print of this outfit. It looks and feels great on and I’m glad it has a cotton lining because as a lady going through the menopause, it is vital to have natural fibres against my skin.

I love everything about this skirt. The gingham crimped material is unusual and attractive. The amount of material is generous and therefore hangs in elegant folds and moves well. The full length is perfect and the pull on waist band easy to wear.

Beautiful material. But this skirt was far too long and I’m 5ft 7’ so had to return it. It was so long it was on the floor even in heels when a check gingham is screamin’ for a clean, flat, white trainer or pump shoe. That amount of gingham material also needs pockets. Please use the same material but in a redesigned skirt. Sadly, I had to return it.

Had my eye on this skirt for a while but thought it was slightly expensive for a cotton skirt. When it was reduced decided to buy and it is a nice skirt but not as full as I thought that it would be. Contrary to some other reviews the length is perfect and I can either wear with flats or heels, I'm 5ft 5in

The skirt is beautiful and I am looking forward to wear it during sunny days. I only wish Phase Eight considers shorter people. I am size 6 or 8 and 158cm tall so the skirt will need altering professionally. With the COVID -19 restrictions this is not possible so I am not able to wear it.
